After having a wonderful christmas celebration at home a hike was sorely needed! Do you know how much stuff one stuffs oneself with during a holiday? I mean, where does all this food come from? It tastes amazing as well. The sheeps that normally grazes here are now in the barn so it was finally safe for me to take both Manchies out for a hike at the same time. These two are like Thelma and Louise (The movie). Its so much fun to go hiking with them. They even posed naturally for a photo. I surely love them both to the moon and back! Afterwards chilling on the sofa is the best way to spend the evening according to Epona.

Can I just say that I love my dog?! So much fun at The Dobermann Club Show today. Donna obvoiusly won and also got the places 3rd in the BIG finale! BIG3. Wow! She also got a lovely critique from judge Børge Espeland.

We are so lucky to have a Barn Hunt club in Bergen so that we can participate in competitions. This time we got to sleep over at Kennel FellowMine in Bergen, and it was soo cosy! It was also so great to get to know the mother of Epona, Fellow Artio Zoe. She is truly the Big Boss Mama. In addition Jorunn also has Eponas sister from another father, Power at home. It was great to meet her as well. Jorunn also competes with both her Manchester's in Barn Hunt. They are all great amabassadors for the Manchester Terrier breed. Donna did really well and got her second Barn Hunt title which is the RATN title - RAT Novice. In addition, she also became first to locate the rats in both competitions today! She has such a great nose, and she just loves to work. One can really tell that this dog were bred ot hunt rats and other forms of vermin.

This is Donnas only change to get the Junior Cacib and become a Norwegian Junior Champion. We had to show the breed in the parking lot at Sandefjord. I was not impressed at all about the ring location. Donna did her best as always, I am so proud of her! Judge: Okkola, Tuire Critique: '15 months, excellent size, good bodypropotions, straight in upper arm, well shaped head, nice expression, typical topline, good coat, a little pail in chest and armpit, a little smooth in tanmarkings, moves today backlegs under the body with short steps, nice temperrament, well handled'

This is my very first visit to Herning, and I must say, I absolutely love it. In November each year the Danish Kennel Club arranges Winter Wonder Show at Herning which includes the title of the Danish Winner of the year. And guess what?! Donna Madonna did it again! She actually got two titles - Danish Jr Winner 2023 and Danish Winner 2023. What an accomplishment! I am just in an awe of this amazing dog that I have. An added bonus it that there was a photshoot stand at Herning by Arion. The queue was horrendus, but totally worth it.
